We know how you feel! Stresses of life can cause hypertension and force people to breakdown. Well, we have been there and have solutions we’ve done to be sure to escape before you break. Now, we’re sure there are thousands of ways to reduce stress but these are methods we like to do as a couple. Individually, that may be different such as exercise, yoga, hiking, etc.

So, let’s check out our own methods:

  1. Go to the movies – How can you complain about stress when you have an escape right down the road from you? Simply take a few hours to clear your mind and enjoy someone else entertaining you.
  2. Go camping! – Like how we did this weekend, sometimes you need to unplug from the rest of the world and create your own space. Nature has a way of making people take a simpler approach to life and live in the wild. Sure, you don’t have to kill your own food, but cooking it under the night sky has its privileges.
  3. Road trip! – We’ve done road trips and have seen some wild things. This causes us to share our company, stories, and space and allow us to be open and free. Discovering new places has great benefits as we leave everything behind and experience new things together.
  4. Binge Netflix – So, maybe the movies aren’t for you, but tv is. Why not turn off your phone and pick a show to run through? Get a few snacks and plop in front of the TV and discover a new show together episode after episode.
  5. Fly somewhere – There are cheap methods to going places around the country. You just need to know how to do it. Tune in where we show you a way to de-stress by traveling on the cheap.
