Are race relations in America better or worse today since the Civil Rights Era?
We know today’s world consists of Black Lives Matter groups formed from police brutality and video footage against Blacks show this first hand. We know many White people have adopted All Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter to counter BLM instead of address the brutality issue. Are Blacks just craving attention or is this a legitimate issue? Whites have called Obama “the most racist and divisive president ever”. Is this true? Are White people now the discriminated and disenfranchised? Latinos are targeted due to political chatter of deportation and building walls on the border. Muslims are branded with the word, “terrorist”. Is this their own doing?
Are these just issues that have grown recently or were the Civil Rights Era in the late 60’s worse? Race riots, police brutality helped spawn The Black Panther Party. Whites were rarely prosecuted for crimes against Blacks.
So, let’s discuss. Are race relations better or worse since the Civil Rights Era?
