Activist Dolores Huerta stopped into Arizona to have a Q & A session with the viewers who sat in for the premiere of the documentary based on her titled simply, “Dolores”. It’s an excellent film which captures her life and involvement in the farmer’s union protests, activities as an organizer, as well as life as a mother.
We were all lucky enough to stick around for the Q&A sponsored by PBS and we (Zod & Drea) were able to ask her a question as well. Check out how a legendary woman who organized with Cesar Chavez, is respected by many in the past and current movements, and who used her life to help others discusses her tactics and methods.
