We went into the streets of Phoenix, Arizona during First Friday of December to ask the public what they thought of the voting process of the 2018 Midterm elections. With complaints of long lines and voting machine failures were also successes of easy voting processes and convenient mail-in ballots. And with so many positions up for grabs and promises met toward voters, what do the voters think of those elected and how they’ll keep their promises?
It was amazing how many people admitted they didn’t vote so they didn’t participate in our interview and others who were camera shy or thought the question to be too politically-charged. Yet, those who decided to join in and answer had unique perspectives and different opinions on not only the voting process but the governing bodies in general.
