We’ve all seen the headlines and gasped at how much settlements in divorces payout; especially in the Hollywood circles. Some of these people work their entire lives only to have their spouse take half or more than half. Some wonder what they’ve done to deserve this? Many times, it seems the women are favored in divorces either as spouses, mothers or both. Are the men just happy to get rid of them and the price to pay is worth the separation? Maybe. Like they say: It’s cheaper to keep her.

Divorce is worth it?

But let’s talk about those who don’t want to keep her and simply want to be free of their old life. Maybe it’s amicable and maybe it was a fight. Maybe he cheated and this is the court’s way of punishing him. Who knows? But one things we DO know is we’re doing to put it out there and have a discussion about divorce settlements and if men are the ones usually taken to the cleaners. Let’s go!
