Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA) invites you to our 4 part series: “Freedom Through Food.”

“Freedom Through Food” is an informal monthly gathering for people in the community that want to see a change in the criminal justice system. Together over food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), we will share our experiences and explore the root causes of injustice in our criminal “justice” system.

The third part in the series will be a crash course in the history of how police and prisons came to be and why these institutions disproportionately target and harm communities of color.

The fight for freedom starts with a community that is informed, connected, and well fed. All you need is yourself and a friend – we will provide the food & light drinks.
